Fire Sprinkler Outage Coordination – Mal Moore Athletic Facility Recruiting Room Upgrades, UA# 085-18-1485

Planning is complete for an upcoming fire sprinkler outage at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility in order to relocate existing fire sprinkler heads on the 1st floor, north end. This outage is scheduled for Friday, June 22nd, 2018 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
This will not be an entire building outage.  It should only impact a portion of the building on the 1st floor, north end.
Notes:
• UA Plumbing shop will valve off the system and refill once work is complete
• Contractor to drain the system and make the tie-in
• EHS to bypass the flow switches prior to refilling the system
• Fire watch not required due to duration being less than 4 hours

Electrical Shutdown – Ridgecrest South Outside Air System Replacement , UA# 271-17-1392

Planning is complete for an upcoming electrical shutdown of Ridgecrest South in order to tie-in power to the new outside air units.This shutdown is scheduled for Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This will impact all electrical and mechanical systems.
Notes:
• Building is on back-up emergency generator
• Fire alarm system will remain operational
• Fire pump is on the emergency power system and will remain operational
• Mike Largin to contact Ray Bostick and Randy Mathis to discuss details about the data equipment area.  It was mentioned in the meeting that all data equipment and A/C for this area is on the emergency power system and will remain operational
• UA HVAC to shutoff all equipment and verify startup once power is restored
• UA Plumbing to verify impact on all plumbing equipment and verify startup once power is restored
• UA Elevator to shutdown and secure all elevators
• Parking deck roll up doors will not be operational.  They will need to remain in the open position
• The faculty apartment is currently the only room occupied

Electrical Shutdown – Tutwiler Hall , UA Electrical Maintenance

Planning is complete for an upcoming electrical shutdown of Tutwiler Dorm, including the energy plant and the 2-level wing connected to Tutwiler in order to perform preventive maintenance.This shutdown is scheduled for Friday, June 29th, 2018 from 5:0O AM to 9:00 AM.
This will impact all electrical and mechanical systems.
Notes:
• Tutwiler is on back-up emergency generator
• Fire alarm system is on the generator and will remain operational
• Fire pump will remain operational
• UA HVAC to shutoff all mechanical equipment and verify startup
• UA Plumbing to verify startup of booster pumps and sump pump in energy plant
• UA Elevator to shutdown and secure the elevators

There will be a scheduled power outage on the Stadium Drive Deck (South Ten Hoor Deck) in order for UA Electrical to perform some PM work.This outage is scheduled for July 3, 2018, from 6:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Electrical Shutdown – Riverside East and North Residential , UA Electrical Maintenance

Planning is complete for an upcoming electrical shutdown of Riverside East and North Residential in order to perform preventive maintenance.This shutdown is scheduled for Monday, July 9th, 2018 from 9:0O AM to 2:00 PM.
This will impact all electrical and mechanical systems.
Notes:
• Riverside E and N does not have back-up emergency generator
• Fire alarm system is on battery backup and will remain operational
• Fire sprinkler system for both buildings is operated from the Presidential Village 1 fire pump and will remain operational
• UA HVAC to shutoff all mechanical equipment and verify startup
• UA Elevator to shutdown and secure the elevators
• There are no summer camps in Riverside E & N on this day

Planning is complete for an upcoming electrical shutdown of Garland Hall in order to tie-in an exterior lighting circuit for the subject project.This shutdown is scheduled for Thursday, July 12th, 2018 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
Notes:
• Garland Hall does not have an emergency generator
• Fire alarm system is on battery backup and will remain operational
• All computers within the building will need to shutoff prior to the shutdown
• UA Electrical to submit work orders to UA HVAC, UA Plumbing and UA Elevator for building support.
